I love looking at old mugshots. One of the coolest tattoos I’ve ever seen was a mugshot of old blue eyes on a girls shoulder. it was pretty hot. taken in Sydney circa 1920s, these mug shots are in a league of their own. More glamorous than would be expected. Aussie is just that good.

One of my dearest pals, Mollie, invited friends to her family farm over the weekend for some catch up with mother nature.
I was happy to get away and try to recover from this pesky summer cold I caught last week.
The Byron Farm is magical. Magical chickens live there and lay Tiffany blue eggs.
Amongst others in creamy peach, tawny brown and sunset pink.
We had a funny incident while on the farm…a case of escaped chickens!!!
I can now count chicken herding as one of my special talents.

Lately I’ve been noticing more and more of the shoots Carine Roitfeld styles. Maybe it’s the mood I’m in or maybe it’s just that she always proves to stand apart. It’s easily apparent that this is the woman who inspired Tom Ford to revolutionize Gucci and sexxxx it up. Carine’s work ooozes sex in a way that makes bondage a covetable must. What a tasty life.
Two of Carine’s recent shoots with Karen Olsen and Daria Werbowy are below. Note, may not be suitable for the timid.

I did some soul satisfying thrifting (goodwill you always rule) and vintage shopping in Indiana. Also ate a ton of yummy frozen custard. The town is so quant and my fave thing is that they still have a double feature drive in movie joint. The town courthouse also looks like the spot chosen by a crazy scientist to get his DeLorean back to 1985.
My visit helped me realize that I’ve not seen very many of Jimmy’s films. First on my list is due to the awesomely creepy silkscreen of Jimmy with Rabbit: Harvey. “The story is about a man whose best friend is a pooka named Harvey—in the form of a six-foot, three-and-one-half-inch tall rabbit.” SOLD!

Eva rocks the face off W’s July cover.
Love the sultry richness of the shots. Also really wanting an almost nude/peachy palette for my lips/nails. Read more/See more here.
