It’s just hit me, why haven’t we seen more of her on Mag Covers?
Other mags would be smart to follow suit.
I’m rushing out to grab this issue.
The cover is beautiful. Lovely that the Elle font has patterned letters to match the Miu Miu prints.

On another note, it seems many critics have decided that Zoe Saldana’s dress wasn’t Red Carpet Hot and have put her on their Worst Dressed list…I DISAGREE and think she brought something new and avant to the often boring, sameness found at the Oscars.
She still kept it glamorous. Love the dark shoes falling in line with the dark purple of the dress…

Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s new video for Telephone is out next week!
I can’t remember that last time I was so excited for a video…sigh…makes me miss classic MTV.
The buzz is all about Gaga’s telephone infused hair. I just got my Gaga Viva Glam…now my pout is doing something for AIDS research. Thanks Gaga!

I was pleased as pie when I opened up my mailbox to find a stunner of a cover on Bazaar’s March issue.
The great Kate on her 8th cover for Bazaar. Inside she talks about spending 20 years in fashion.
Has it really been that long? The subscriber cover is gorgeous.
I love getting special covers every month.

She has a mighty voice. jenny holzer.
“Expiring for love is beautiful but stupid.”
“There’s something about light that’s right for these terrible subjects. It’s a way of having beauty let you come closer than you might otherwise.”
and a website dedicated to her work.

These photos capture everything I love about life! Along with weekends. Happy Friday!

I hadn’t watched this video or listened to this song in so long…it’s still great and dreamy. I love the images of the ravens on the telephone wires.

Isn’t this photo just great? Imaging hanging out with the two? God…imagine going through their closets? Of course…I would need a translator along. French is on my list of things I want to master.
I just love this photo! Look at the hair! One could for sure get lost in there…makes me think I need to re-visit some highlights this summer…
I think that jumpers could be my favorite item of clothing…gosh, I do love dresses too…but look how cute Madonna is in one circa 1976.

Brigitte in one that was made to run around a European city:

On the jumper note…I just checked out the new Halston ready-to-wear line, Halston Heritage at Bergdorf’s. The new line is a throw back to classic Halston of the ’70s. I can’t even handle how awesome each piece is. I’d love the Tie-Dyed Short Jumpsuit or the Jersey Halter Jumpsuit. See the rest here.

Hope you are having a lovely day.

I’m normally not a t-shirt and jeans girl…
…but since I discovered Every Little Counts on Etsy and made my first purchase, the La Femme Romantique black flutter sleeve tee, I can say that I am sort of a t-shirt and jeans girl.

Just not your average tee. I’m looking at their spring preview and will be getting my hands on it.
Henry and Anais! Oh yeeeeeeeeeees. And maybe some love for Anna Karina. The blog is also full of fun inspiring photos and finds.

Every Little Counts are the cutest tee’s and knits I’ve come across.
I just got so warm and excited when I caught the trailer for Sex & the City 2.
I will never get tired of the other fab four.
Already, something to be excited about in 2010!!
I live in Chocolate City, Work for NPR, Love my roommate and two Kittehs. Day to day I find more and more beauty lurking in the oddest spots. Rouge My Knees is an accumulation of notes on what I find whets my curiosity for all things toxic and pretty.
I love sharing my view of the world through the photos and links posted here.
