The latest issue of World of Interiors has a fantastic feature on Napoleon’s campaign tent. I just can’t stop thinking about how some day I’d like a room to hide in that’s exactly like it. Flower prints, leopard rugs, bright green silk brocade curtains…and a lovely iron canopy bed. Pretty simple considering. And a pretty good hideout, I’d imagine. More campaign tents and furniture…some British….and I’ll need to get my hands on that book…

This shoot of Aline Weber by Yelena Yemchuk for AnOther Magazine F/W 2011 (via fashion gone rogue) is killing me. I often fantasize about one day driving my burnt orange convertible benz…chocolate brown standard poodle in tow and all…this spread pretty much sums up my fantasies…One think I’ll be adding the next time I daydream…some fab snake print and geometric silk head scarfs…and maybe poodle baby can have a vintage Halston dog collar, if such things exist…

I live in Chocolate City, Work for NPR, am currently working on an MA in Interior Design, Love my roommate, friends and Kitteh, "Bits." Day to day I find more and more beauty lurking in the oddest spots. Rouge My Knees is an accumulation of notes on what I find whets my curiosity for all things toxic and pretty.
I love sharing my view of the world through the photos and links posted here.
