Alison Lewis always has the best videos each collection.  The last one consisted of running around in pretty under garments, pretty dresses, vintage luggage & chugging champagne out of the bottle.

the latest is set at the fair, summer at its peak, cute light dresses and lots of color…oh and vampire teeth!  hooray!

check out the video here. click on video.

Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s new video for Telephone is out next week!

I can’t remember that last time I was so excited for a video…sigh…makes me miss classic MTV.

The buzz is all about Gaga’s telephone infused hair.  I just got my Gaga Viva Glam…now my pout is doing something for AIDS research.  Thanks Gaga!

Go here to get your own.

My cute friend from across the pond, Paul, shared this video with me.  it’s so rad and retro.

I didn’t know about Italian singer Adriano Celentano or his hot wife (the blond in the video doin her thang) Claudia Mori.

The lyrics are pure gibberish, often described as sounding like American English as heard by a non–English-speaker.

Adriano and his wife perform together here.  musical magic. choreographic magic.  and those outfits TDF.

chocolate and beer and nine inches

you know sometimes you think, I’m so tired of winter and the hum drum of life in February DC…and then all of the sudden things align…and you find yourself at happy hour…then a walk home with Chimay and a new beer, Three Philosophers…and then magically the Mast Brothers Chocolate you ordered just less than 24 hours before…

Then you do some drafting…and the universe is aligned because you know how that awesome studded leather sofa and fireplace fit…so OK…let’s get crazy and do some shopping…I don’t normally go to malls anymore and Bonadrag is one of my fave sites that I can afford and admire…

and then on top, some NIN.  Pretty Hate Machine.  Closer.  F<3ck Y<3a.  I hadn’t pulled out the Nine Inch Nails catalog in much much too long.

Tonight…my best purchase:  burgundy lace pants!!!

Spring Issues Rolling in…Kate Moss Bazaar Mag Cover.

I was pleased as pie when I opened up my mailbox to find a stunner of  a cover on Bazaar’s March issue.

The great Kate on her 8th cover for Bazaar.  Inside she talks about spending 20 years in fashion.

Has it really been that long?  The subscriber cover is gorgeous.

I love getting special covers every month.

Everything is lovely about this little film for Opening Ceremony’s spring collection.

The clothes, jason and kirsten especially…and I love the nod to the image of Brigitte Bardot on the cover of French New Wave by Jean Douchet.

LUCITE & HERRINGBONE EGGS

I’m in the infant stage of my main project for my interior design class:  two level house, 2nd level loft.  Some things I think I’m set on so far are 1. Lucite rails for my dark wood floor stairs and 2. as part of my ode to Alexander McQueen, The Egg Chair.  I think two or three of these guys will go in the bar.  Fun planning my dream home without a budget!

The only images of Lucite stair rails I can find.

I am into the retro feel to these homes…sort of like ’70s mafia.

Let’s hear it for the boys…and the best in show

I love watching figure skating every time the Winter Olympics come around.  This year the men are killing it with dark  goth and whimsical appeal.  Obviously Vera Wang’s work on Evan Lysacek’s costumes is TDF.  Never saw something so magic on the ice as Evan last night.

Yes…it is all about the talent of the skater…of course…but the gift to use drama in your presentation just adds…

I also found it fitting that another dark angel grabbed the spotlight in NYC.  Sexy Sadie  taking Best In Show.
