oh that bed and her dress and that bedspread!…and her voice TDF! Hail Mama Cass!!! I imagine myself having one of those break into dance/song montages…this would be great with a little tap number worked in. Hahaha, I love how she just tosses Mr. Bear aside…and how they both drift off…
haha, this humorous take on the song from a Russian comedy called Be My Husband, is close to what my fantasy song and dance number might be…minus the dude – though I do heart his leopard slippers, ripped pants, bow tie and the manner in which he tosses her hat! Wait for the end…the auto they take off in is simply out of this world.
On my walk home while listening to this tune {it’s been on repeat lately, I’m telling you, I’ve got the whole montage down pat!} I kept thinking Zoe’s voice would be great with this song…and alas, not only a cover, but for the wonderful Erin Fetherston 2007. Zoe looks HOT. Her extreme eye makeup {reminiscent of the Live Through This album cover} is perfect and I also love the guitar in the background.
